Welcome to my senior
thesis website. The project consists of images created
in photoshop accompanied by a running narrative, telling
the story of one chapter in the long history of Kandara.
Kandara is a fictional world seemingly trapped between
2 epochs, resembling very much our own 21st century
and medieval periods.
The artwork for this
project starts out as a basic concept sketch which
is then brought into photoshop. From there a final
image is created utilizing a combination of my own
sketches, found images and the powerful tools in photoshop.
Inspiration for this
project comes from my fascination with both science
fiction and fantasy litterature and art, as well as
the techniques utilized by artists of the dada era.
